We hope you’ve been enjoying the stories from our bloggers and finding out what they want to achieve – and what their challenges will be – by taking part in our Maxitone Hello New You campaign. Despite all our bloggers having unique stories, they’ve all got one thing in common: wanting to succeed in their aims to tone up, get healthy and ensure they’re exercising correctly.
One of the first steps to success in becoming fitter and healthier is working out if you’re eating the correct food for your goals. At Maxitone, we have a dedicated team of nutritionists who help us work out our meal plans and recipes, ensuring the correct balance of carbohydrates, protein and other nutrients for you.
So, in order to help our bloggers on their Hello New You journey, we asked them to speak to one of our nutritionists to find out about their diet and changes they could make to ensure their success. After keeping a three day food diary, our nutritionist analysed their diet and made suggestions on areas where they could improve. Over the next two weeks we’ll be sharing the bloggers’ reactions and how they felt about this nutrition advice – and we can tell you now, there’s some interesting surprises that have cropped up!
By working out the best foods to fuel your body, you can feel fitter, healthier, and generally much better about yourself, and it’s not just about ditching the fatty foods and greasy snacks. Over on our website, we’ve got lots of articles on eating healthily and breaking bad habits: why not check out Diet Myths Uncovered and learn a little more about some of the real facts behind healthy eating and weight loss? And we challenge you to try our quiz on finding out your nutrition IQ!
If you’re already taking part in our Hello New You campaign or interested in trying something different to help you reach your body goals, our website also has a host of recipe ideas and tips on keeping those snack cravings at bay. Plus, don’t forget you can give us a tweet with any questions you have on nutrition, or use #snacksos when you think you might be reaching for that chocolate bar…
